Transmission Rumble Strip Noise

I think a new transmission is what is in order. I have a 2005 Chrysler 300c hemi yesterday noticed the car making a sound like driving over rumble strips between 40 and 60 mph. I have noticed recently as I'm travelling at higher speeds (around 75km/hr +) I start to hear a sound coming from the front end. Bemilten had a problem with a noisy transmission a year or so ago. If you have this problem, it sounds exactly like when you go over a rumble strip on the side of the highway, especially as you decelerate to a stop. It's now to the point that I can't 'take off'. But why is it still a shudder there, like running over rumble strips? Just wondering if you came across with an issue like mine. Don't do a thing until you get the car up on a lift and someone knowledgeable inspects the transmission mount and the driveshaft/U-joints.
